Here is the second of the ABC's of salvation:
B. They must believe in Christ.
Acts 16:31 says, "And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Luke 5:32 says, "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Luke 13:3 says, "I tell you that except you repent you shall all likewise perish."
Romans 2:4 says, "Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth to repentance?"
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
First, they must acknowlege they are a sinner, then they must believe in Christ's ability to save them. Two down…one to go.
